The show has made massive success in the first season – combined by the PR efforts of Prime Video and the fame of the country’s phenomenal comedian.

Similar to the first season, the new season fetches a batch of Filipino comedians trapped in the room. While all are comedian, the rule is simple: if you laugh, you’re out.

“Fans are already speculating on which local icons will join the roster to face Vice’s sharp wit and the pressure of the no-laugh zone.”

Last One Laughing Philippines is based on the show Documental, created by Japanese comedian Hitoshi Matsumoto.

As the comedians stay in a living-room style studio with hidden cameras, they have to make their opponents laugh in any way and by any means. Meanwhile, the opponent should not react.

The first laugh is cautioned (yellow carded), and the second eliminates the player from the game (red carded). However, large infractions may be given an automatic red card.

Vice Ganda, in an earlier statement during the first season has said, “Ako ‘yung supervisor. Ako ‘yung nagbibigay ng mga challenges. Ako ‘yung nagpapataw ng ‘pag may nasusuway sila sa bilin nung may-ari ng bahay.”

He noted that its hard to make other people laugh because it requires a lot of skills. “Madaling maging nakakatawa. May mga nakakatawa pero hindi sila komedyante. Mahirap maging komedyante ‘yung profession, ‘yung art ng pagpapatawa.” #
