Valorant, meanwhile, takes inspiration from the Counter-strike series, where a set of players serve as agents and are assigned either by attacking or defending team with each team having five players on it.

Mobile Legends, on one hand, is a popular multiplayer online battle arena game where two teams of five players contest on destroying opposing base while defending their own.

UAAP has said that the e-sports tournament will continue as demonstration event and is not part of the contributing points to winning the general championship title in the event.
