Millions of Filipinos can now start earning free load and data rewards, this is through helping in quest to train artificial intelligence – such as recording POV videos, image labelling, audio collection, and rating AI chatbot responses.
The offer is available to Smart and TNT subscribers and they can earn up to 750 worth of free load. This includes up to P100 worth of free data per day, up to P75 worth of free load per day, free e-sim, and cash incentives.
Tasks available include labeling photos and reading short phrases to provide AI training data, and by submitting short first-person (POV) videos of everyday activities on a compatible smartphone using a GIG-provided head mount.
In the POV Video Quests, an individual has to wear a head mount, and record eligible activities from their point of view. The assigned activity requires a desired time duration, and framing instructions as it appears on the application.
Submitted videos will be checked following requirements, and points will be credited when submission is approved.
To qualify, you need to download and create an account via their GIG application, select ‘Quick Start’, test your camera and claim your gear, and complete the camera test and linked form. Qualified applicants will receive gear delivery and community instructions.
In addition, students can earn up to P6,000 active squad allowance, P5,000 monthly performance bonus, and P100-P150 per eligible verified invite – through becoming a student ambassador of the program.
A student has to create a squad within the campus, teach your mates how to earn with GIG, and keep the team active.
Smart will also provide exclusive merch (including hoodies and caps), approved event support for eligible squads, and priority consideration for GIG corporate internship.
