The Kapamilya Network and the Kapuso Station may possibly enter into a new partnership deal after the so-called “break-up” which led to many ABS-CBN shows away from TV5 while the latter have started producing their own content.
According to a PEP story, the resupply buzz has made rounds in the showbiz world as Coco Martin and Julia Montes’ upcoming soap Sigabo nears pilot airing by June 22, 2026.
Other sources disclosed that the deal also includes return of many shows in the Kapatid Network, that is aside from Sigabo.
It could be noted that the Content Supply Agreement between the two networks have ended January this year after a reported failure of ABS-CBN to pay monetary obligations to TV5.
With Coco Martin’s return on primetime television, many fans have immediately went gaga with the release of its official poster and theme song.
The poster shows lead stars Coco Martin and Julia Montes side-by-side with both of their guns drawn – t’was conceptualized by Coco and photographed by Jun De Leon.
Teaser of the official theme song which was written by Coco and performed by Yeng Constantino was also released on social media.
“Happy ako na magkasama kami ni Julia sa poster. Nandun lahat ng elements – ‘yung action, romance, tapos makikita mo ‘yung komunidad na gagalawan ng kwento,” the actor said in a TV Patrol interview.
The new show is expected to provide Tatak-Coco Martin action, coming from an original concept by the lad actor.
“Siksik sa aksyon, kilig, at katatawanan na puno ng mahahalagang aral ang masusubaybayan ng mga manonood sa “Sigabo” gabi-gabi mula Lunes hanggang Biyernes,” as per Bandera.
