A student from Tarlac National High School has brought a historic milestone after bringing home gold at the recent Billiards 8-ball competition at the Palarong Pambansa 2026.
Prince Crisann M. Delos Santos has ruled the secondary boys division after showing a sterling performance, hence bringing pride for Region 3 and the Tarlac province.
Tarlac Provincial Youth Development Office has commended Delos Santos, “Your achievement is a historic milestone that brings pride great pride and honor to Tarlac. Your hard work, determination, and exceptional talent have made the entire province proud.”

Palarong Pambansa is a national event where students across the country gather to compete in different sporting events and disciplines. This year, it was held May 24-31, 2026, at Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur.
After a week-long celebration, the event has had its closing ceremonies at 2pm on Friday with assembly of athletes, unity parada, and production number.
National Capital Region was declared champion at the awarding ceremony after topping the overall delegation of rankings – the region received a trophy and P200,000 cash prize.
It was followed by Calabarzon Region IV-A which received a trophy and P150,000 cash prize, and third place was bestowed to Davao Region having P100,000 cash prize.

The sporting event has been successful amidst report of stomach upset among athletes from arnis, volleyball, and rhythmic gymnastics.
The Regional Medical Teams has conducted immediate medical attention and monitoring. Reported symptoms are abdominal pain, vomiting, and loose bowel movement.
Meanwhile, a reported fire incident was likewise immediately wiped out through there is currently an investigation on what happened during a table tennis tournament.
While a match on table tennis is ongoing on May 27 at Talacogon Municipal Gym, an air conditioning at the back of the gymnasium has reportedly caused fire hence there was temporary suspension of tournament.
