Will television host Willie Revillame return to the Kapuso Network soon? Well, speculations have started after Revillame was seen in a meeting with GMA Network executives following his announcement that his TV program Wowowin will return.
GMA Network Senior Vice President Annette Gozon-Valdes, Sparkle GMA Artist Center First Vice President Joy Marcelo, and one more companion have dined with the TV host in a restaurant, that is per an IG story by Marcelo on April 28.
Revillame has announced a day earlier on his online game show Wilyonaryo, which is also aired on cable television, that the program is set to end on May 15. That is because his Wowowin is scheduled for a TV return.
In a teaser video released by the host, there is the heart logo with text “Nakaka-miss makasama kayo”. GMA Network, being the Kapuso channel, is identifiable by its heart logo.
While the GMA heads and Revillame has not yet disclosed further details about the return of Wowowin, viewers have made speculations of high chance that the show will be aired on GMA or on its sister channel GTV.
Wowowin, which was aired from 2015 to 2022 on the Kapuso station, was a massive success in Philippine TV.
Revillame has had several TV channel transfers and format shifts, he has hosted variety shows from ABS-CBN, TV5, ALL TV 2, GMA, and Wil TV.
While not yet official on which channel to air, the TV host has reportedly purchased a new studio for the show alongside that it will be aired Mondays to Fridays.
Regarding Wilyonaryo, he said that the program will shift to online gaming and he is no longer a part of it.
The program struggles to attract advertisers because of its online gaming component. #
