Teacher Wilfred encouraged her mom to continue her studies, and the mother made a thumbs up after her husband’s passing – as way of coping up.
Now, netizens are astounded how mom graduates high school with son as her teacher. Indeed, Congratulations Mommy Domingga. And she plans to pursue college.
Teacher Wilfred Branairos Malinog inspired netizens with a Facebook post showcasing his mother, Domingga Malinog, graduating from junior high school through the Alternative Learning System (ALS) of the Department of Education (DepEd).
What’s even more remarkable is that Wilfred himself was his mother’s teacher.
“NANAY KO, ESTUDYANTE KO!” he said on his Facebook post last May 20, 2024.
“Congratulations mudrabels, ALS Graduate @ the age of 67..May purpose gid ang Ginoo kung ngaa gintransfer ako sa ALS❤️❤️❤️.”
In an interview, Wilfred revealed that he encouraged his mother to continue her studies. He noticed that she was always reading the modules for her students as an ALS teacher.
Studying became a source of comfort for her after the passing of her husband.
Now that his mother has graduated from high school, he plans to encourage her to pursue college.
