The social welfare department has assured that there is enough relief goods particularly food stockpile and ready to eat food boxes for families and individuals affected by Mayon Volcano’s assertiveness.
Assistant Secretary Irene Dumlao, also DSWD spokesperson, has said that per order from President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., relief operation is continuous.
Kaya sapat po ang ating stockpiles,” she said.

DSWD has more than P3.19-billion worth of food stockpile and standby funds allocated for augmentation to affected local government units.
Dumlao said that as of May 4, the DSWD has 1.66 million FFPs in major hubs, of which 266,618 boxes are prepositioned in the Bicol Region.
Aside from relief packs, the government agency is also providing cash-for-work and emergency cash transfer to farmers whose livelihoods have been disrupted and other affected families.
