A psychology student has expressed disappointment after purchasing a dental promo voucher – the product he has bought he said, is too good to be true.
Kurt Mikhus De Gracia has said, according to school paper The Work, that the incident took place inside the Tarlac State University (TSU) Main Campus classroom.
Per his narrative, the sale having happened inside school and that faculty members have availed are reasons why he was convinced to buy.

“‘Yung mga faculty niyo nag-avail din sila, sabi pa. Kaya medyo nako-convince na rin ako mag-avail nun. Kaya kailangan ko rin kaso ‘yun nga, too good to be true, na-scam tayo ng wala sa oras,” he said.
The psychology student has later learned it was a scam after going to the clinic that allegedly sold the voucher, as staff members said that what he bought was an imitation of the sale campaign which ran from January to February only.
In a statement, the dental clinic has said that unauthorized individuals or scammers have pretended to be affiliated with their establishment.
They said they are currently coordinating with proper identities to identify the suspects. Likewise, they have encouraged those who were affected to visit their clinic for assistance, as they are providing complimentary consultation and periapical x-ray as compensation.

De Gracia, the student, has also questioned how the alleged scammers were allowed to enter the university. “Lesson din ito sa TSU mismo. Ba’t nila hinayaang makapasok itong mga scammer? Sino ‘yung in-charge, sino ‘yung nakausap nila para makapasok sila?”
Meanwhile, as per Singlife Philippines, scammers love to lure individuals with deals that seem too good to be true.
Therefore, it is advisable, they said, to: (1) confirm promotions before taking action, and (2) keep your personal and account private info.
