Singer and actress Agot Isidro will be having her 60th birthday concert special to celebrate her return to the music industry, this is through a live show on July 17-18.
It turns out, the concert is her comeback in the industry celebration after seventeen years of hiatus.
In a black and white poster shared by PEP on its website, Agot could be seen on a white collared shirt, a text which reads “Agot Isidro’s Special Birthday Concert” -and the title of her concert celeb “The Story of A.I.”
The concert will be held at Globe Auditorium, Maybank Performing Arts Theater at BGC Arts Center, Taguig.
This will be directed by Rowell Santiago, musical direction by Ejay Yatco, and production by AIP Media Production, Inc.. Tickets could be purchased starting May 23 via Ticketworld.
“60th, I’m gonna have a show. Mag-concert ako… just to get back into singing again. Because that really is my first love,” she told reporters during an awards night in Makati.
Agot has admitted that many younger audiences might not be aware that she started as singer and feels nervous about her return; nevertheless she sees British Olivia Dean as among her inspirations for the upcoming performance.
“I stopped for a while kasi nag-enjoy din ako umarte. Parang hindi na-realize ng mga kabataan na I started out as a singer… so parang i-orient lang natin sila.”
The concert performer keeps rising as a talent and has made name in numerous projects including recording albums, movies, television, and theater.
Agot has entered the show business at the age of 2025, wherein she was given the title “crush ng bayan” or “people’s crush” because of her girl-next-door persona. #
