Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) would feel incomplete without the films starred by comedians Vic Sotto and Vice Ganda.
It seems that the names of Sotto and Ganda are almost synonymous with the MMFF, and that the default option that people have in mind when watching movies during Christmas season are their films.
Within the past decade, the two top comedians would rival to earn the highest grossing entry. Sotto is known for his Enteng Kabisote movies, and Ganda has a unique style of comedy too.

But what if the two blockbuster movie stars would collab for a single movie this year?
There are rumors in the entertainment industry today for a possible movie collaboration between Vice Ganda and Vic Sotto. Sounds exciting, right?
The buzzes have made rounds after MMFF has announced via social media that they are now accepting entries for the annual filmfest.
This means, interested film producers can send their Letter of Intent on May 15 through mmff@mmda.gov.ph until May 15. Submission of script, it added, is on June 15 while the finished film shall be submitted September 30.

Aside from the possible Vice-Vic collaboration, there are also rumors that the Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera starrer produced by Star Cinema is slated to be shown on MMFF 2026.
There are independent film producers who are planning to submit their entries, though big film production companies have bigger chances.
It could be recalled that MMFF has pulled-out Vice Ganda and Vic Sotto movies in 2016, an event that dropped the number of televiewers in the country.
