Stand-up comedian and TV host Roderic “Ador” Cuntapay, popularly known for his entertainment name Michelle O’Bombshell, passes away.
The sad news was shared by fellow comedian Pepita Curtis via post on Facebook. “Habang tinatype ko to, binubura ko, nahihiya ako magpost ng ganito kahaba pero minsan lang naman ito para sayo Nay.”
Pepita added, “Paalam Nay Michelle O’Bombshell, lalong masaya dyan ngayon sa Taas dahil andyan po kayo,” with prayers emoji.
In the post, Pepita recalled Michelle as a person who never acted cold on her, and a person who always support younger comedian. “Nakakakaba sumabay sa wit and humor mo nay pero wala kang ere ere.”
Pepita also shared gratitude to Michelle for being the writer of the birthday concert that will forever be cherished and remembered.
“Nagpapasalamat ako dahil naging writer ka ng birthday concert ko nay. Buong buhay kong ichecherish yon. Di namin malilimutan kung gaano ka kagaling sa entablado, kung gaano ka kabilis mag-isip ng mga punchlines na magugulat ang lahat, ang husay mo mag-ingles, timing, bagsak, isa ka pong idol nay!”
Boobay also penned a message to Michelle: “I love you so much po Te Michelle O’Bombshell. May you find everlasting peace. I will never forget all the learnings. Until we meet again Manag ko.”
Michelle O’Bombshell is known for the shows Wapakman (2009), My Amiga Girl (2012), and Diva (2010). She is known for impersonating former US First Lady Michelle Obama.
Family members of the late comedian, meanwhile, is seeking financial help for the cremation of the celebrity.
“As we prepare to say our final goodbyes, the family is currently raising funds to cover the costs of cremation. Any amount will go a long way in helping give Ador the dignified send-off they deserve.”
