Award-winning actor and singer Billy Crawford has shared some of the secret formulas he uses to staying fit and healthy.
According to ABS-CBN News, the actor has said that he does not follow any diet but has cut out sugar, alcohol, and any vices in his lifestyle.
Part of this is the revelation that he has not consumed alcohol for eight years, and this decision has dramatically improved his energy and overall wellness.
Billy is known for his energetic dance routines every time he appears on concert or on television, and hence needed to be physically and mentally prepared. Therefore, he was trained to adopting lasting healthy habits.
He disclosed that sugar is the biggest drug and needed to be cut in his lifestyle, so he shared he would rather eat candy or opt for natural sources of sweetness like fruits.
“So that’s my kind of regime right now.”
The actor said, “Wala akong diet. That’s one of my things is I have no diet. As you can tell, walang tigil ‘yung pawis ko, so I really burn more than usual. Number one na nagpatanggal ng weight sa akin was I cut a lot of sugar.”
“So you have to really choose if you want to eat candy or you want to eat fruits. So that’s my kind of regime right now. It’s diet, actually. But yeah, I stopped alcohol. That’s the number one sugar trigger, and to make you bloat is alcohol.”
Billy Crawford started his career as child performer on the variety show That’s Entertainment. At 12, he left the country for the US.
He returned in the country in 2022 via concert Billy Crawford: It’s Time at the Araneta Coliseum.
He is behind the successful single “Trackin” which was a massive chart success across Europe, peaked number 1 in Netherlands and peaked number 11 on the European Hot 100 Singles.
