Fashion icon and television actress Heart Evangelista is known for her glamorous lifestyle, as she is often seen possessing luxurious items – including bags, shoes, clothes, and other accessories. But, Evangelista has defended her love for shopping in the recent episode of the GMA show The People Have Spoken.
The actress has said that her fondness in shopping serves as motivation, and is backed by the efforts she puts into her career. She emphasized that she is working hard for what she owns rather than relying on someone else.
“Bisyo ko shopping, pero kung magtrabaho ako, nahihimatay, naoospital, everything, para mabili ko yung gusto ko. So wala naman akong sinasaktan nang dahil d’on,” she said.
Evangelista has shared that she does not want a lazy person. That is since she works hard to earn money through working in order to buy the things she wants and needs.
She noted that a person should have diligence and is responsible amidst her needs.
The comment from the actress came after the program, to which is currently hosting, has asked the question: “Mas pipiliin mo ba ang asawang maraming bisyo pero masipag, o walang bisyo pero tamad?”
Heart Evangelista is born from a wealthy Chinese-Filipino family, while her husband is Senator Francis Escudero.
She has attended international fashion events such as the Paris Fashion Week, introduced as face of the French luxury bag Lancastar alongside Barbara Palvin, and featured in various East Asian Magazines.
