Some individuals excel at balancing their studies while pursuing their interests, hobbies, or passions.
Take the recent rockstar success of a band member who recently hurdled the Physician Licensure Exams – Angelo Mesina of rock band Lola Amour is Now a Licensed Doctor.
It’s indeed “Raining in Manila,” but this time it’s a shower of congratulations for him, as he successfully passed the October 2024 Physician Licensure Examination, officially becoming a licensed doctor.
The announcement was shared on the band’s official Facebook page, where they expressed their immense pride in their band member.
“OUR BOY MADE IT!!!!! EVERYONE SAY CONGRATULATIONS DOC MESINA FOR PASSING THE BOARDS!!” it can be read.
The post includes two photos of Mesina, showcasing a “before and after” transformation.
The first photo shows a young Angelo, who once aspired to become a doctor. Now, he has achieved that dream while still pursuing a thriving music career.
Lola Amour gained fame with their hit song “Raining in Manila” and even performed as part of a concert featuring the band Coldplay.
In the band, Mesina showcases his talent by playing the trumpet and guitar.
