But the breeze has changed in 2026 with the introduction of GoogleBook.
GoogleBook is a result of the unprecedented developments in the field of artificial intelligence which the tech giant wants to fully utilize in the laptop, in contrast to focusing on web browser on a Chromebook.
The new laptop is not built on Chromebook but rather a completely new product which is built from the group up for Gemini Intelligence.

Top features includes the Magic Pointer which brings Gemini-powered suggestions depending on what is being pointed in the screen, and a Create your Widget which allows users to generate custom widgets using prompts and AI.
In addition, Google’s lappy has the advantage of Google Cloud services, Workspace, Chrome and Google applications that works incredibly well when combined with AI studio.
Moreover, Google has likewise allowed Android applications to run on the GoogleBook natively, and the product development on the gadget will focus more on building a foundation on Gemini Intelligence.

Google has ensured that it pairs well with Android devices, bringing features such as easier access to phone apps, Quick access for viewing and inserting files from a phone directly on to the laptop.
While the product has been introduced by the tech giant on public, Google has yet to release the complete hardware specifications or exact date of availability.
