The lawyer disclosed having worries that nobody would appear at the quiz bee tilt because of the difficulty.

“Kabado pa kami kung may sasali ba dahil sobrang hirap ipalaganap ng IP awareness sa ating community. Through IP, dito nagsisimula ang isang innovation mindset na ating kailangan upang magkaroon ng innovative ecosystem sa ating komunidad, at isa ito sa mga awareness na pinapalaganap ng OIBD,” he said.

OIBD refers to Office of Innovation and Business Development at TSU.

While the competition is quite challenging, he thanked the participants in showing their best, “Sabi nga ng paborito kong leader, ‘The number one you can do is to show up.'”

In the competition, the College of Business and Accountancy has won with 100 points followed by the School of Law with 94 points, and College of Computer Studies with 82 points.

He said, the group were expecting more in-depth questions but was met with basic knowledge, alas different from what they reviewed hence the struggle.

“We were expecting that they will dive down on the details pero surface level yung questions. Nakaapekto ‘yun kasi ‘yung small time namin to review, ginugol namin siya para maghanap ng deeper details pero walang lumabas.”

Bellohas likewise shared that time preparation was a challenge but noted that he together with teammates Lyka Ibarra and Luiz Macapagal learned from the competition.

“Nonetheless, we still did our best to review and really study yung mga materials, sbrang enjoy naman siya. We learned a lot, and I’m sure dadalhin namin ‘yung mga knowledge that contributed to the group’s struggle,” Bello said.
