Streaming giant Disney+ has started rolling out a new mobile application which will maintain your own e-mail and phone number used in the previous version of the application but won’t carry over your profiles, watchlists and viewing history.
Technobaboy.com has disclosed that the new application will be the standard global version of the Disney+ platform, as the previous uses the previous Hotstar app system.
Hostar system, the previous, is reportedly lighter on data in some cases but lagged the main application in design, recommendations, parental control and travel access.

The new version, which matches the one already alive in the United States and Europe, will start rolling in parts of Asia, Africa, and the Middle East – including the Philippines.
The variant will include movies and series from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and Hulu.

Meanwhile, there will be some changes in terms of plans. Basic subscribers has to move to the Standard plan, including downloads up to 1080p video, and two simultaneous streams. Nevertheless, existing premium subscribers keep their current features. Billing cycles remain the same, and subscribers can switch plans anytime. That is aside from some changes under the Subscriber Agreement.
Disney+ is a streaming platform which releases favorite classics and exclusive Originals. Disney+ Standard Plans are at P289/month or P2,290/year. Disney+ Premium Plans are at P599 or P4,850/year. This means, you can save over 30% with annual plan.
